Birth Mother Financial Assistance

Pregnancy always comes with additional – perhaps unexpected – costs. When considering adoption, it is important to know that there can be some help with these kinds of costs. If you have a critical need, Beacon House Adoption Services maintains a small fund to help out with emergency cash for a birth mother who may be considering adoption but not have made a decision.

Once you have committed to an adoption plan, Beacon House Adoption Services can provide additional birth mother financial assistance in the form of living expenses such as rent, utilities and grocery money. Birth mother financial assistance can also provide some funds for clothing as your pregnancy develops. In most states, payment of living expenses is permitted.

Legal fees and expenses are never charged to a birth parent – all legal expenses will be covered as well as any counseling costs. Birthmothers are not responsible for their pregnancy related medical costs.

**State and federal laws determine the amount of birth mother financial assistance that an agency may provide to a birth mother. This may differ from state to state. Beacon House Adoption Services always works within state/federal laws.
