Happy Father’s Day!

There are so many fun ways to celebrate the father’s day – but the most important thing to remember is it’s the quality time with the family that makes the day extra special! Making dad breakfast in bed, surprising him with an afternoon family fishing trip, or going to the ball park with the family are all fun ways to engage with each other, and build on traditions. I know I still get an Easter basket – and I love it!!

Building on traditions and celebrations, is a great way for children to feel loved and secure. This is especially true with adopted children. Engaging activities and quality time builds confidence in their soul. It nourishes them in a way that words cannot. Children who grow up with this stability and culture of love are more likely to embrace who they are because they don’t just hear their parent’s say I love you, they encounter it – and that makes all the difference.
