ADOPTION TAX CREDIT UPDATE
The Adoption tax Credit has been extended through the end of 2011, with a maximum credit of $13,170.00. Our understanding is that the $13,170.00 maximum can be claimed for both 2009 and 2010 tax years..

Please check with your tax advisor regarding the claim for 2009, as well as whether or not incomeeligibility has any phase-out ranges. Information is available at http://www.irs.gov/newsroom/article/0,,id=236174,00.html

Remember the tax credit is a great way to get back some of the expenses associated with your adoption.

CHOOSE LIFE LICENSE PLATES
Many states are issuing these license plates, and proceeds go to benefit adoption programs and pregnancy counseling. If you don't have your plate yet, see below for the contact information for Florida, Louisiana and Mississippi

FLORIDA
The Choose Life license plate has raised over $5.25 million in Florida. Just think what could be raised if all the pro-life folks in this county would get behind this effort and switched to the Choose Life license plate.

It is now possible to switch to the Choose Life license plate online. Just go to www.choose-life.org and click on the flashing picture of the Choose Life license plate and then follow the onscreen instructions. You can also get a free Choose Life license plate frame for switching online.
